Where has the time gone?
Seems like it was just yesterday I was posting up this great class I was taking on “whole living” and herbalism and now…
The class only has two more sessions! 🙁
The good news is I have merged over to the Medicine Making class so I can continue learning the basics of herbalism.
I can say for sure…this is the best class I have EVER taken.
Because it has saved us heaps of money. We no longer end up in the doctors office for things like colds/flu/ear infections.
That alone, in a house with 3 kids, is a miracle.
I have managed to control Daryl’s gout, my joint pain, Jill’s arthritis and insomnia and any other number of random daily “could have ended up with a co-pay” types of issues making the class invaluable.
My money is no longer spent in CVS buying over the counter medicines that just put a bandaid on things.
So I have missed all kinds of class images in between the last post and this one and I went back and forth on do I go backwards and share each class or do I just do the current. Because you know I have them from every class.
I ended up on “add the images from each session” into the class Smugmug gallery I have and just post the last class session pics on here today. Because there is just so much beauty out at Forrest Green I could literally be on here for hours posting the thousands of pics I have accumulated over the last 6 months.
This week we did everything from making cherry bark cough syrup to Elderberry syrup for flu season.
It was so fun!
Onto the pictures!
If you have never had Tulsi (Holy) Basil you are missing out! We are addicted to Tulsi infused honey. It goes in every glass of tea around here.
Well hello little Spider…
And lets all say it together… “AWE!!!!!!!!!!” Because how can you not?
A reminder that all good things must come to an end…
Check out the size of her Caster tree…I mean plant. Mindy is like 6′ tall too!
The food was incredible as always! Krista is an amazing cook!
This tea….well he died a very good death I promise! Krista’s Vitamin C tea is addictive!!
The good news? Now anyone in the country can buy their amazing blends!
My favorites are the Vitamin C and the Daily Wellness Peppermint.
Then we made salves…
My favorite picture? Ellen and her little fella!
Can’t wait to meet him one day very soon Ellen! 🙂
Well that about sums up this last class. If you are anywhere in Va. I can’t recommend this class enough.
We have folks that travel from as far as Suffolk to take these classes and I can vouch….
They are worth every penny!
