Brr…I am not ready for this.
Really.
I HATE Fall. Just because the weather is changing does not, however, mean that it is time to stop gardening.
Granted the big garden is being planted in Winter Rye for the long cold Winter but the Kitchen garden is full of radishes, turnips, red tip mustard, Bok Choy, lettuce, dill, caraway, lemon balm, parsley, oregano, rosemary, chives, the basil is still hanging in there (barely), cilantro, borrage, carrots, Chinese cabbage, spinach, collards, chard, the onions and garlic are now in as well.
Today my little helper and I worked on the cold frames.

He was just oh sooooo helpful…

Who needs a playground when you can just climb in and out of mommy’s cold frames?

I eventually talked him out of the frame…

At which point he abandoned his paci in the baby lettuce to go pick his favorite…
Lemon Balm (the baby is a lemon balm addict..pretty sure his first words will include “lemon balm”)

I need to edit out the photos from the garlic planting…hoping to get to those by the end of this weekend![]()
I am going to be putting hoops over the rest of my garden probably next week…planning on sharing how.
As long as the crazy busy photo session season lightens up a bit…which it won’t be really for the next 2 months.
