Back in the cage for baby…

Ok well it isn’t that harsh.

A few of you have asked me if Lucas was still using his floorbed from the big bedroom reveal
The answer is “Heck no!”…once he started really crawling…FAST!  We knew that his personality is not one that can have free reign over his room unsupervised.  He ALWAYS goes straight for the deadliest thing he can find.
Around 7 months we ended up deciding it was time for a crib.
We knew that he hated the original one we tried…hence why he slept in regular beds for the frist 7 months.
I really think it was a space issue.  The old one seemed to be super narrow and it was a tall drop side kind.
This go around we ended up getting one of the low cribs and he instantly loved it.  He seemed to have more room.
Not really sure how that was possible?
He also seemed right at home with it being so low it almost touches the ground.  Something he was already used to.

Anyhow….he is still loving his room and seems to love the addition of his crib.
Now if we could just talk him into not waking up at night still wanting at least one feeding a night…at 11 months old!  EECK!
We always joke that Adam was 5 YEARS old before he ever gave us a single, solid nights sleep.
Must be something about our boys?

He is still very much in love with his blankies…

He still cuddles with one of us every single bedtime and naptime….
We all love cuddling him and feeding him until he almost falls asleep.
I don’t think that will ever get old…we all enjoy our time with him.
We all know it is going way to fast and soon enough he won’t want to cuddle…he will want to run!
