Geeze, a decade ago when we picked up flash cards for the kiddos it was those nifty $1 packs.
They were fun to do with the kids and we spent countless hours practicing ABC’s, colors, animals….you name it we flashed it.
Adam could tell you all of his letters and numbers before he was 22 months old.
He loved to sit with us and learn.
Over the last few months it has become clear that Lucas has zero use for T.V.
(which is just fine by me…does a baby really need t.v.?)
BUT he LOVES books and my iPad.
So last week when I realized his fascination with my iPad was ridiculous I tried showing him Haley’s old site word App.
He loved it so then of course I was like….”I bet they have a app’s geared toward babies!”…duh.
I find this app called Baby Flash Cards 450+ flashcards .
Not only are they these beautiful flash cards with real pictures (which you know I love)
but the animal flashcards make the sounds of the animals as well!
Holy crap have flashcards changed in the last decade!
The down side is EVERYTIME he sees my iPad he claims it as his and wants to sit in my lap and do his flashcards.
Which I don’t mind so much since they are so fun!
Did I mention it is a FREE app!
Have any favorite children’s learning app’s? Please feel free to share!
I am a sucker for a good app!
