Memorial Day Block Party 2012

Well this year was a good old time…

It was the same crew and same fun but a bit sadder…since Clint and Shannon are moving in a few weeks.
So sad to have the block change out…
I am sure the new neighbors will be perfectly lovely folks but they will not be Clint and Shanon

Lucas loves him some Shannon…she is his girlfriend…or so he tells me…

she even gave him his first truck…which he loved!

The kids had fun in the water of course…

Love me some little Ms. Gracie…

Lucas decided he really wanted my camera…

“No mom..give it to me!”

“Oh me…I just wanna…see it…not eat it…I swear!”

But he moved onto playing with plastic bags…that’s safe…right?

Oh the things we do to keep this kid occupied

Oh and there were flags …duh!

Well that about sums it up…crazy weekend but it has been lots of fun.
Oh and Lucas had his first trip to the pool!

He is my first “Summer crawler” out of three!  My others all crawled in the Winter…
Never had to deal with little knees on concrete.  I shall be making him a pair of “baby Knee pads” tomorrow..lol!
Poor little knees!
