Here in the south, powerwashing is a must. The high humidity, the mold, mildew and pollen alone make a house a yucky mess.
However, before you hire someone or powerwash it yourself you need to know this….
{USE AND ORGANIC CLEANER in your powerwasher.
Why you might ask? I personally learned this one the hard way last year. Our house was in desperate need of a washing so we had a fella come out and do it. Within a few days all of my plants and bushes surrounding my home DIED. Turns out he did NOT use an organic cleaning agent. Something I hadn’t even thought to ask about. I mean you would think that someone who is in business would know that the chemicals he is spraying a house with will kill ALL vegetation it touches?
So there you go… Use an organic cleaning agent when powerwashing your home or anything surrounding vegetation you would prefer alive when you are finished
One more note..keep in mind if you live in a neighborhood that the chemicals you spray on YOUR yard will leech onto your neighbors yard and plants. They may be trying very hard to keep their yard non-toxic. Be kind and keep your chemicals to yourself.
